Precision Welding

When it comes to part strength and vehicle safety, a lot depends upon the quality of welding. LTC has the deep practical experience, sophisticated tooling, and materials expertise to ensure strong, durable welds specifically tailored to the part’s purpose and the materials used. We apply the right welding process to the right purpose, optimizing part durability and the security of the weld.

LTC utilizes three primary welding processes:

INDUCTION WELDING – Inline induction welding is primarily suited to heavy-gauge, high strength parts. Structural elements, weight bearing components, or parts subject to impact or operational stress benefit from the deep material penetration that induction welding affords. LTC induction processes can achieve material penetration of up to 6 mm, ensuring optimal strength and stability of the weld.

LASER WELDING – Laser welding is commonly applied to tubular parts requiring lower frequencies and less penetration than those of induction processes. LTC welding equipment is adaptable to a wide variety of tube configurations and material types, including round, square, five sided, and custom shapes.

RESISTANCE WELDING – Traditional resistance welding is performed in applications where thin materials are used or where stress upon the finished part is of less concern. LTC’s high-frequency resistance spot and seam welding processes nonetheless result in consistent, durable welds and durable, reliable finished parts.
